We did this at my local QS for animal allies around our area we also made small one for cats. Our customers would bring in thier scraps to us also. They are great.

I made 8 beds today in a very short time. I'll take them to the vet tomorrow. A friend of mine gave me a big bag of left over t shirts scraps.

You folks are wonderful and real blessings to the furbabies! Quilters are very special people! I have been fortunate to be there when the kitties I work with at our shelter here in MI have been given new beds and the pleasure is very real. I have had the adoptive families tell me that their new kitty will drag "their" bed from room to room. Your contributions are very, very appreciated. God bless you all.

Not really my Muffin will do the same with any bits of batting she finds, she just loves anything to do with quilts but the batting is her favourite, as you can see

I made one for my DD yesterday using fleece bc she said her kitties had claimed her fleece jacket. My kitties love theirs. Emmy has been hogging it lately so I need to make Reggie his own.
