Hehe pretty vibrant blocks you got there April. Love the card trick. That's a good idea Jaba. I have no idea how I plan to do the stained glass. Just a small black strip between everything and I will have to play around with arrangement because they will be different sizes. I will have to find my smallest scrap and determine what divisible number will work and then try to cut the others within that guideline. I am still deciding if I want to do a stained glass with just the strips, or if I want to do like a shadowbox type quilt with a black background and grey shadow or something. what i'll probably do is lay my pieces on top of the black fabric and decide if they need a little somethin somethin else to make them pop and if so then probably do the shadowbox instead.

I love those quilt inspectors. I have got my little American Idol guy back. He likes to sit in his own chair and watch Simon with me. He seems to know it's the same guy on Factor as he used to watch with me. I'll try to get a picture of him doing that. Anyway, I'm here to update my rubies list. Today I mailed finished blocks to Buddy's Mom, Jacquie, nygal, Immemother and that's all for rubies.

Anastasia, you're asking me to hard of a question. I don't know, I just cut out a kitty from the fabric, ironed some interfacing on the back, put it in the middle of the block, set my machine for a really close zigzag, and sewed arouund the edges. Whatever that's called that's what I did I can't even figure out the embroidery on my machine , but sure wish I could. I'd be doing that, well probably not kitties, I like them, I'm just allergic to them unless I take some drugs first

Machine applique jaba haha and that works for the answer. I totally forget to say I got my pretty block from Moonwork but my phone is being ornary about emailing myself the pic at the moment so I can post later or you can peruse it on her forum post she's keeping. All this math homework.. I'm losing my mind and it's slowly being replaced by useless information.

HELLO anybody home? I just got the internet back yippee lots of posts to catch up on. I seriously want that cat fabric and think that I can make a kitty block for the shelter without sending that lost fabric back.. shoot its not in the box.. darned it. You shoulda known not to send me the CAT one.. oh no you send me CAT fabric.. she who used to have a kitten rescue gets fabric with cats in a basket and is supposed to send it back? NOOOOOOOO!!! thats not fair!! ok. fine. be a brat get your silly fabric with adorable cats back. in a block. fine. sigh..

Anastasia stained glass is oh so pretty to look at. IN a quilt however think even really good black fabric fades a bit in washing vs a wall hanging minimal washing an if its not in direct sun.. limited fading too. I think one of th easier ways to do stained glass would be to crazy it. color black color black.. and frame it with black and it could be stained glass. I have had a pattern before but its darned hard and well not for me. Also I just bought some fabric to use as stained glass windows lol already colored such with little 1/4 pinkie colored ovals surounded by black. Be great as a church window in a block. You are one whirlwind of ideas Erin. Wowsa.

well its the witching hour.. see you tomorrow if I have the net again. maybe at midnite if I am lucky.
