Thank you for the beauty, Cheese. I have looked at that block pattern before but never envisioned with my fabric this time around. You have been mighty busy. I like ALL of your blocks actually. Time to wander through the whole collections of blocks to date for every one for some sweet eye treats. It has been a day or two and it changes so much everyday.

Good morning. Will be heading home in a couple of hours.
SBG, what’s the name of your block for SusieQ? I really like it.
Hope you all have a nice weekend.

Good Morning
Sewbiz sweet block for SusieQ
Cheesehead you are going to pass all of us up with the speed you are making your gorgeous blocks. Love them all especially my two blocks. The green you used with the green fabric looks perfect and more the look I was going for when I used the green fabric.
Drove to the craft fair but couldn’t find a parking spot within reason. Left and did our errands and headed back to the lake, made a massive tuna salad for the pot luck after the first wave of boats, lifts and docks come out today. Hoping the sun will come up and we will have a pleasant work day. It’s always nice when the men don’t have to wear their waders while in the water, it gives them the freedom they need to move faster if a tire or something similar goes barreling down the hill towards them.

Just one block today, this is for LStew. I just loved this plaid fabric, it was so much fun to work with. The pictures I have posted in the past seem fuzzy and hard to see, I did enlarge this a bit, hope it's not too large Janice.

Beautiful, Fall-like block for Lstew, Cheese... I got that plaid too!
Finally found the Triple Star block pattern for you, Janice. It's on Patchwork Square. I omitted the squares in the centers of the flying geese units, and made the center square out of the focus fabric. Gotta check my measurements tho, as my block came out about 1/2" too big and had to be finagled.

Thanks, SBG. I was sitting here figuring out the sewing sequence when your post Came through with the dimensions. I’ll try it on some scraps before I use it on my blocks.

Ltsew the cross body bag is perfect for cruises. I purchased one while on the Alaskan cruise and I use it when I walk to carry my phone so I can listen to music. So sorry about your FIL hope his PT goes well and he will be home quickly.
So excited just heard from my son that he and his gf plan on coming home for Christmas and my granddaughter and her little family. Sounds funny chatting Christmas now but trying to coordinate 7 families is dang near impossible. I know some of the family is not happy with a change we have to make this year but everyone knows how fragile I currently am and for a welcome change they have decided not to rock the boat!

this Holiday is so stressful trying to please all the members of the family.
My father in Law is doing fine, thanks for the prayers. Went to visit him today, but he slept the whole time I was there. So I went Thrift store shopping. Did not find anything that really needed to come home with me. Went to my Crafter day with my knitting friends. Keri, who runs crafter day, just recently lost her mother. Keri brought lots of her Mother's knitting and quilting supplies to sell, stating she could not keep all of her crafting stuff. I came out with three large pieces of fabric for backing quilts. Enough yarn to make 2 sweater kits, lots of sock yarn, a project bag, stitch markers and a pattern to make a Scarf with sleeves. all for $40. The yarn is merino wool, the good stuff. Our group is also going to make hats and scarves to donate for the homeless this winter. I have lots of left over scraps for this project. So I would say i had a good day.
