9 years + 1 quilt with a friend about 20 years ago and then no more until 9 years ago, with 100's of quilts since.

I started quilting in 1991 and quited for 5 years until my 3rd child was born. Then I put it aside while I raised my family. I started quilting again 2 years ago, and am amazed by all the new techniques and materials!

I have been quilting for 21 years. Started quilting when the kids left home and I had spare time.

at age 12 Lived in Germany as my father was in the Army and to keep us girls busy we were taught to quilt a baby size quilt, I don't remember the prize, but only two finished and I did not win. threads long and too many notes, thus I swore some day I be a real quilter that was 56 yrs ago,boy time flies, many of times I have turned to quilting and knitting to help me in times which were rough, thanks to those who showed me the way keep fingers busy
