But HOW???
I'm good at coming up with ideas -- but not the best at taking charge. Here are some ideas:

*decide on a block size (12" finished?)
*interested members then start their design/stitching
+some members might be interested in making an id block
for personal use and to post on the board
+other members might want their id block to become part
of a larger quilt board block
*members post their personal use id blocks, or they post
"i'm in for the big one"
*hopefullysomeone from each state or county within state will
volunteer to organize how to gather blocks and complete
each quilt
+pm's can be sent with photos attached of finished blocks for
the state/regions organizer as well as on the main board
+pm's can be used to set up local quilt sessions for finishing
*a year-completion goal would be reasonable.
*quilts can compete in county fairs, state fairs, as well as the
quilt board gathering.
*after "displays" -- quilts can be auctioned at local charity
events

i was going to say, "that's my 2 cents." but -- it's more like "that's my 25 cents," because i got carried away.
am hopeful that these thoughts prompt others to post their thoughts.
judyjudyjudy (how am i going to think of an idea for THAT!!)

My first name is Jennifer, and DH and I got married on Feb 22, 2006. :) So, Jennifer22206.

And our date can be understood either way - 2/22/06 or 22/2/06 :)

I am a regular on my SIL's blog. My name is Linda and she has about 3-4 other Linda's. So I became sisLH (sis, with my initials). On my old crochet site, I was Happy Hooker but that didn't sound too approprite here.

Sorry about the long quote, but Judy, krystyna, olebat, etc: Let's start another thread topic with this idea so we won't take away from this thread? I think we will get a whole lot more response with a new thread topic. What do you think?

I have a friend that's is "hooker". The day she became a "hooker" our Pastor told the Wed night prayer group that we had a "certified hooker" in our church. Of course everyone knew who he was talking about. We still tease her about being a stripper and a hooker.
