I laughed and cried both. no one is home and the Dog was looking at me real funny I was laughing so hard. If you have had this done, it is exactly how it is. Thanks for sharing. It was better than any comedy show i have seen.

You have to find humor in them, but please everyone make sure and get your colonoscopy! I was diagnosed at age 42, had to have a colon resection (they removed half my colon and put it back together) and then 6 months of chemo. Well, for the good news, that was 13 years ago!!! I did not have a history in my family. I have had many colonoscopies over the last 13 years and I always dread them but know my life was saved!

wow does this bring back recent memories I wished to forget, the Moviprep was the worst, I actually threw up more than I kept down and didn't have the nerve to tell the doctor when she said I did a great job, all clean!

My hubby's dr. says it is time. Even had another dr. call to schedule it. He keeps putting off his 1st c. ever. I will read this to him.
I had instructed them I cannot have an IV in my right arm. They marked my left arm. Finally they wheeled me in and did the deed with me awake-no drugs of any kind. I was so still. No problems, no pain, just fear and stillness........ Saves lives so worth it.
Really the drink wasn't that bad. Said I could have popsicles with it and they flavored the drink. I locked the door, took magazines, candles and soft music in the bathroom and didn't come out till prep was complete and magazines were all read. Gotta make it a party!!

When I have my next one, I'm going to read this to see if I still think it is funny. I was laughing so much, I had tears in my eyes, Thanks.
