Now that your done you can come over by me and arrange my sewing room. I love jelly rolls. I make alot of jelly roll quilts. Go to Cozy quilt design they have many strip patterns and also have a monthly strip pattern club. You can buy the pattern for $5.00 or if you show up at the store on strip club day the pattern is free.

I think we all have things that we have forgotten about but I do not have a big stash so I can pretty much remember every thing. There is nothing wrong with you having all of that if you can afford it. Just enjoy what you are doing.

At least you now know and have a chance to control it. I have been trying to use up what I have before i buy more. I slipped the day before yesterday and bought some more fabric, but my saving grace is that I have immediate plans for it. You just have to take it one step at a time and delete all those newsletters from quilt shops before opening them. Good luck!

I always lived by the motto "The one that dies with the most fabric wins."

Please don't tell me that is not true! Don't burst my bubble.

My husband will find out when he goes down to help me make sure everything is in order for their arrival but I think he knows about it already.
I just see fabric & think I may never find it again so I had better get at least 1/2 yard (usually more like a full yard).
Do you know of any quilters anonymous meetings or should I just start one in my area?
I don't think the anonymous 12 step program would work for us. We'd never get past step one. For instance, I would get up and say "My name is Lynda and I'm a fabriholic. I have tons of fabric and I keep buying more. I want to stop, but "The Quilt Shoppe" has a great sale on and..." At this point there would be a stampede to get out of the room and get to the cars and head for "The Quilt Shoppe."

Stay with us, we'll enable you every chance we get!
And the bad part would be?
There is no bad part that I know of!

My name is Katy and I am a fabiholic.....

I have decided the same thing. I have gone one step further. I am keeping a fabric brought in and fabric out list to make me a bit more accountable.I am recently alone, well not totally I have my 21 year old DD and my 88 year old mom but I am down to my income as I no longer have DH income and I must learn to behave better than I did and....and this is a big and... I cannot use up all I have left in my life time. I am teaching two groups of new quilters and they are shopping my stash. I made $500.00 since I started selling it in March. I am hopeful I can put it to work for something besides fabric. Back to work on the dozens of UFOs once I find the tables to work on. They are currently buried under fabric.

I heard that the one who dies with the most fabric wasn't sewing fast enough.
