    I love your first quilt and number two is going to be awesome. I love the Lakota custom you referred to in the post. She will love it.

    I am totally hooked!! I'm already a week into my next quilt. It's a Star for a Lakota friend of mine who has been especially helpful to me and my family since my mom died a few months ago. It's a Lakota custom to give a gift to those special people at a memorial feast one year after the death, and he'll be tickled silly that I researched the customs of his people, besides I hope he likes the quilt.     You are really doing well. Your grandmother's lap robe quilt is very nice. I am making my first quilt also. I don't think I will do a diamond cut next. Your Lakota quilt looks awesome so far. Thanks for showing us.
