Tired of quilting?

I do get tired of quilting sometimes and walk away until I get inspired again. Now that I am retired, and have a fabric stash (neither of which I had before) it seems like there are always ideas popping into my head. I sure wouldn't sell your machines until these feelings had lasted past 4 seasons. It really could be a general depression.

I really wish I could get tired of quilting. I have lots of other things I need to do, but there is always that one more project I just have to start, and then another, and then another, and I just saw a picture this morning on the Board that I just have to try!

I feel that way now, about the bella bella quilt I am working on....even though I had to work through incorrect directions, it will not defeat me, I keep reminding myself this is an opportunity to practice patience......hang in there...

I am a retired and an empty nester so I have plenty of time to quilt. I love it. However, I make sure that I have more physical activities, like Yoga class, between quilting sessions so I continue to look forward to sitting and quilting quietly.

I have so many things that I like to do that I find myself flitting from one hobby to the next with barely time to breath in between....so at this point I can say no...but I can see myself switching to spending more time on one thing than another....gardening, junking, horses, quilting, reading, traveling, fishing, just sitting around doing nothing...I think I just need more than 24 hrs. in a day...
