I love that pattern, bought it last year and lost it somewhere, recently purchased it again, and will make one soon!

Oops - meant to say it was the Lucky Star pattern. I don't think I have made the same pattern twice yet.

i think that over time, we develop a "go-to" in quilting, just like in knitting, crocheting, or even cooking. there are old faithfuls that are comfortable because they CAN have variations and change-ups, but we know they won't fail us. in fact, i'm off to start making a 'default setting" lunch, because i'm on call at the hospital, today. reliable is good. and "old faithful" can take the lunch out of the oven when he gets hungry...

I love all your Lucky Stars quilts. I just finished one today. I can see doing another.

I've done several string quilts to use up scraps and donate. I rarely make the same pattern more than twice.

I would love to see them.

I've done a lot of Courthouse steps, each time using a different color set, changes the whole look & I get excited to see it fininshed.

I've done a few 9-patch variations, a few Jacob's Ladders, and two Bodaceous patterns. If I double up, the colors really have to make me happy or things will not get done.
