Absolutely breathtaking. I love needle turn and have just recently gone back to machine piecing to give my hands a little break. Your work is stunning. Can't wait to see the finished product

Yes - All of my Baltimore Album block patterns are from an Elly Sienkiewicz pattern book. (Her designs were made by reproducing the original blocks from the antique quilts - faithfully reproducing some and modifying others.) While I have 5-6 of her other books, the blocks that I am doing are from either Baltimore Album Beauties, Vol 2 or the Best of Baltimore Album Beauties. Some that I am working on are considered "classic Baltimore", some are "beyond Baltimore". The "beyond Baltimore patterns have the "flavor" of the Baltimore Album style but the parts and pieces in each block look a little more "polished" than those in the original quilts.

Thanks Wolflady - and thank all of you for your lovely comments. I did post 3 other different blocks in this same topic - wasn't sure if I should post them under this original topic or create a new one. They are on the bottom of page 1.

I took a class from Elly - she is absolutely wonderful - very down to earth and very helpful.

Great job on your blocks !!!

All blocks were taken from one or more of Elly Sienkiewicz's books.

Very nice!! I love the ruched rose. I am working on the Baltimore Album BOM on this board by Peg. It's really fun to learn this technique. I am doing machine applique.
