Patterns from magazines ?

I've enjoyed this discussion.
I'm reminded of when I was little one of the things i loved to do was organize the button box for my Mom. Gee, somehow they kept getting messed up.
Now I can visualize someone's child or grandchild sorting through quilting patterns on a laptop and organizing them.

I started flagging the patterns in the magazines (using the address lables I store in 2 shoe boxes) I have let my subscriptions expire and now get free patterns if need off the internet. Also, get inspiration from all you.

I have one file with the patterns and ones just pictures so if I'm looking for something new I just browse the pic files so I don't have to wait for each pattern to open. Then once I'm done with the magazine I pass along to other quilters. With so many free patterns I have cancelled all my magazines.
