I guess my only child syndrome kicks in here. I don't want DH in my sewing world....I don't want to do what he does and I certainly don't want him in my world.....I only call him into my sewing cave when something goes wrong, or I can't reach something, or I want something moved...other wise----OUT!!!!!

I know what you mean..love the man to death..as long as he stays in his space and out of mine..lol

I agree he should get an older Singer. They can be had for a song, and he can't hurt it. They are very reliable, too.

You might want to wait and see if this will "stick" with him, or you may end up owning two machines.... well, not a bad problem to have!
