At college, in March. He was a Senior and I was a freshman. I sat down next to him to watch a tv program. We did not speak. After the show he left and I stayed. About 3 mins later he was back and asked me out. He didn't even introduce himself, and I refused. The rest is history.

Would you believe my SO (significant other)and I met on the internet?? Yup, 14 years and counting...I was in am abusive relationship and trying to get out, so started talking and about a year later we met face to face. 6 months after that he moved here. He was in Oregon and i am in Tennessee...the rest has been better than a wild rollercoaster ride that i wouldn't trade for anything!!

Back in college, the first day of the semester, I couldn't decide which good looking guy to sit next to; preppy guy or muscle guy. As it turned out, there was a seat smack dab in the middle of both of them! Muscle guy asked if I had a pen and we've been together ever since. We've been together 21 years now and married for 19!

We met at a military language school. I was in the Army and he was a Marine. Engaged after 6 weeks, married 6 mos. later. 38 years next month...4 kids and 6 grands. Hasn't always been easy but we're still having fun and that's what matters. We've been lucky and managed to "grow and grow up" together. Neither had a college degree when we married...now, we both have our masters. Life is good!
