LOL I couldn't resist. Because I remember my kids learning to drive. I was only able to half way teach my one daughter and then I made her pull over and let me OUT OF THAT CAR or I was going to have a heart attack. All it was was just my anxiety. I don't recall ever having a panic attack that bad over something since. Now when I ride in a car with any of them, I'm holding on to dear life. So it definately has to be a phobia. None of them have ever been in an accident. So I don't know what my problem is. LOL
I ended up sending my daughter to driving school. Cost a lot but it was worth it for sanity for both of us. My son was a different story since he'd been playing those virtual reality driving games at the arcade since his feet could reach the pedals....he just was a natural and I never worried.

I have twins that got their drivers licenses at the same time! I was a wreck! My DS had his first accident....hit a PARKED street sweeper, backed right in to it. He is almost 21 now and he has not lived that down yet!

well my oldest son is now 21 and soon after he got his licence at 17 (you cant drive here before then) during peak hour he got flustered and someone waved him on. He pulled out in front of a bus..luckily bus going slow and he got a dent in his front side about the size of a basketball. He said when the big, burly bus driver got out he got a bit worried but luckily he was very understanding. It took a while for him to live that down..also my youngest son now 19 was reversing after working until midnight stacking shelves at a supermarket and scraped the side of the building..he gave the oldest one heaps when he hit the bus so big brother remarked well at least I hit something smaller than a building!

The first two sessions went well. She didnt hit anyone or anything. DH and I survived too! Of course we were in a long driveway and the hospital parking lot. She is getting better at breaking SSLLLOOOOWWWWLLLYY, instead of testing our seatbelts. :) School starts tomorrow and she will be busy with studies so us and the car get a break...
    Hugs!
