Went thru all mine in July and set aside the ones that I felt would make it to a project. Then took the rest to a retreat in August and "POOF" they were all gone by Sunday afternoon! Now I can start a new collection for next summer.

My DH and I go on long automobile trips. I usually take a stack of 20 or so old quilt magazines. The trip gives me uninterrupted time to look at all the patterns, quilt photos, etc., and sometimes I learn a log from a 20 year old magazine.

As many as your house can hold (and your wallet can pay for)

    I just bought 15 - 18 quilting
    magazines at my Miracle Hill
    Thrift Store for $0.25 each,
but had to crawl into a deep
wire bin to get them out.

Was worth it, may sell some
    on here soon.

As many as I can safely store without the house settling into the ground from the weight.

Been collecting both books and periodicals for years. The best thing is that times change and sometimes looking at them again is like looking at a new one. Yeap, to many is not enough.
