BLUE LAWS....I would love for Sundays to be Sundays and Holidays to be time spent with family and not for shopping!

less of everything to make people appreciate what they have more!

Oh my, I was thinking the same thing before I read that was your choice!! Mom and I had an assembly approach and it was fun working together. I liked the smell of the clothes cleaning in the soapy water. I remember mom was tired tho so maybe it's good to not have to stand so much while the washing machine washes. That wringer was an education in mechanical theory.

We had a wood radio that stood two feet high on the floor, mahogany with smooth ridges and a glass face that was maroon. By putting your finger in thumb holes you would dial your station. On Sunday mornings we got the Italian hour fron Utica with lovely foreign songs about romance and friendship. My friend was a radio repair man but could not find the tubes to fix it so it is now just a pretty piece to look at. Wish I could hear it again.

I would like TV comedies to actually be funny instead of insulting and snarky. And we wonder why there is so much cyber bullying in schools these days; they learn if from TV!

before 9 after 9, really doesn't matter. Im tired of seeing condom commercials. So much so I don't even watch TV anymore.

I agree-before 9 after 9, adults could clean up their acts as well. I hate the commercials where kids are sarcastic and mock their fathers(or each other, siblings, friends).

I won't buy a product if the person in the commercial is pulling a fast one one someone, like the kid who takes the food and runs off. Who thinks that is cute or nice? Don't buy the item and maybe they will realize that is an opportunity to model good, polite behavior, not rude, bad behavior.
