I have one and love it. I don't have to rethread the machine to wind a bobbin. The only problem is it doesn't fill the bobbin completely but I just hold the button down until the bobbin fills up.

I have one of the first ones that came out because my old machine would not wind a bobbin anymore. I also use it for my Janome so that I don't have to stop & rethread again & again. I also finish it to the edge after it automaticly stops that extra little bit makes a big difference. I also do extras so that I can continue without stopping to do this.

yes it is definately worth it i love not having to stop and wind and rethread and start again you will love it and the bigger ones might be nicer if you use cone thread but i have wound it using a pen to hold the cone in place. i would deinately get one if i didnt already have one its my favorite gadget theyve come out with in years.

Well, I had one and gave it away. I didn't like it. I don't unthread my machine to rewind the bobbin anyway. I use a second spool of thread and hold it on a chopstick with a little tension from my fingers, it rewinds perfectly. Just take the thread around the center ring and then hold it. Works like a charm!

I have one but don't use it. Too much trouble. I usually wind several bobbins at a time especially white or neutral color

I don't have to unthread my Viking either so don't see need for one.
