    I knew it, I knew it, I knew it. There just had to be a scientific reason for fabric collecting. I wonder if a study of us vintage sewing machine collectors would produce similar results?

    This is a great piece of information and so true. I never had to hide what fabrics I brought for my stash. I use to make all my own cloths and once in a while husband would as me if what I was wearing was new. No it was not new(at least a couple of years old) which goes to show how much "some" men pay attention. I.Q. has nothing to do with this.
