Your hubby is actually beaming. How wonderful to have this photo to blow up and frame for the bedroom. He was so proud. The quilt is awesome I just love looking thru your windows at the beautiful sight. (I too am a widow)

I am so sorry your husband died. I know Widowhood was not a group you wanted to join. I wish you well on your new life. I'll be joining the widow's club in about a year. What a reluctant, resentful, sorrowful membership list! I pray you have lots of happy memories.

I am so sorry for your loss. What a wonderful picture of your hubby who looks so happy and pleased with his quilt. I just love that quilt. You did a great job of the attic window pattern. I have a DDIL who would love it. She is crazy about penguins. Thanks for sharing...even in your time of loss. ((((((Hugs)))))) and prayers are coming your way.

Oh Sweet man! I'm so sorry to hear you lost him but am very glad he got to see your last touch of love for him.
keep it with you and cuddle it to have him "hold" you.
i made my best friend a quilt for her hubby who was also in hospice. I still am not sure he got to see it but i did get it to her in time. For some reason when i was making it, i thought he might like it. I'd never made one for him before.
    hugs (())

I'm so sorry to hear about the loss of your beloved husband. The first thing I noticed when your picture opened wasn't the quilt, though. It was the look of joy on your husbands face -- and he wasn't looking at your quilt (although it IS beautiful)....he was looking at YOU.

You obviously made him a happy man. It shows in more ways than one.

Oh! My heart breaks for your loss! When you first posted your penguin quilt, I just loved it and how proud your husband looked holding it. You will be in my thoughts and prayers.
