When I am needing my points to match I put a tiny drop of elmer's school glue in that spot and hit it with a hot iron. Takes the place of a pin and does not move until I want it to. It washes out safely. The trick is to use it sparingly and do not glob it on. I found some metal bottle tips in the art area at Hobby Lobby that fit perfect on my bottles with tiny holes.
