Not at all. It works so well with the other colors and primary design. Good choice!

This border "makes" this quilt - good choice. Oh, I love the quilt!

I don't care for the brown border, maybe because its too wide. Try blue borders, maybe two different fabrics instead of one big wide border. Wide borders look like you are trying to enlarge a quilt, which should have been enlarged by adding more pieced blocks. By breaking up the borders this may not be so obvious. Take your time deciding, don't rush into a decision...

I like the border! It completes it.

I agree with oh nunner. I think it is to heavy. maybe a softer color and yes leave the gold border I like that part, just the brown is to hard. I love the quilt.

I would use it with one little tweak. I would use a very small, maybe half inch border in between the gold and the dark border.

Do you like this border and the over all look of the quilt? Also the color of the border may depend on the color sceme of the room your are going to use it in. IMHO I think that the border should be "lighter " in color like maybe a pattern with blue/gold/brown. I think that these colors in the bortder would "lighten" the look of the quilt

I think it looks fine. You are already using that same color in middle of the quilt, so it does go with the quilt.
