Great projects, everyone. I'm done quilting for the weekend. I participated in the "Virtual Quilting Retreat" on Fri and Sat. and made a tote, and then on this one today I FMQed two throw quilts and bound one. The blue bordered one is going to West, TX tomorrow and the second one needs binding. My back is aching and the outdoors is calling to me.
    Here are my weekend creations.

Boscobd, I like your pattern and choice of fabrics. I am putting borders on and sandwiching a wallhanging for my daughter.

Ranchwife ~ You’re encouraging me! I might get to try to QAYG once I finish what I’m working on now. Binding is about half-way done with the hand sewing. I see the light at the end of the tunnel.

    Nice work ladies!

Wow, looks like everyone has been busy. I'm back from visiting friends but off to do some housework. For some reason, it didn't get done while I was gone today Hopefully I'll be able to join y'all next month.

Just seen this post but I spent my whole day with my lovely grand boys. There on there way back to their mothers.

I joined you here late but I have been in my studio for hours working on a baby quilt. A few years ago I did 12 months of the year "Sunbonnet Sue" machine embroidery designs. I "found" them earlier today. So I have made them into a baby quilt top but still am trying to decide on what kind of border I need to add to it. I am done for the day.

My sweet daughter bought me a new sewing machine - the Janome 6600P. So besides putting together quilt blocks for two newborns I was reading and learning the specifics of my new machine. I love it. I have read so many comments regarding this machine and I am so happy to have a Janome with a wider throat. I was concerned that the quilt I just finished would not fit through my Janome 6260 QC. Now I have two machines, one to take to classes and this new wonderful machine that I look forward to spending time with.

Well. I got half of my 3rd quarter sewn together and cut some to star the 4th quarter on "Charming Additions". This is a beast of a quilt but so much fun to select and place material in a sort of controlled way.

I am done in for the day. All the work has been great to watch.

Make your day a good one.
    peace

Enjoyed sewing with everyone this afternoon. Hopefully, the pictures uploaded. I finished 2 mug rugs and a pair of pillowcases, then I put the boarder on the quilt I pieced when I went to my first retreat in Feb. Looking forward to the next quilt day. Great work everyone.
