I took a quilt that my niece and great niece worked on with me for a strong week of quilting to the long arm quilter (the quilt top pictured) and am working on an OSU Quilt using the Big Star pattern and cutting out another quilt that will be a 1930's pattern with beautiful fabric.

I will finish up on my "Lillian" throw and then I will try to get my other quilting items on a pile so I can pick off the piles............
Today I spent some more time on a commissioned full size quilt with a theme of Pine trees. I tried to upload a photo but I guess it's too large. Happy stitching!

I'm working on quilting a red and white Plus Sign Quilt. It's for my mom. It's an un-Birthday, I love you present. Isn't that the best kind. I sure hope she likes it. I bought this fabric a good 5 or 6 years ago for her to make herself something pretty. And of course, she never got around to it. And over time, we used pieces from it for other things. And originally, I wanted to make her a Churn Dash out of the fabric. But, I discovered I just didn't have enough anymore. So, I went with plan B. How's that for going from traditional to modern classic. (I didn't want to buy anything if possible. I am really trying to use my stash.) I did pretty well. I only had to buy 2 spools of thread to quilt it. And, I bought 7 yards of white rick rack as trim for the edge of the binding. (For which I had a 40% off coupon.) I really can't wait to finish. I can't wait to see if my vision all comes together.
