I shopped online for my SP today. Decided to have it mailed to her. Will be putting a card in the mail later today. It's going clear accross the country from me!

    Default Already received my package!

I was quite surprised to receive my swap package yesterday from Nancy in Louisiana. She sent me a cute fold-out holder, a fabric pack, pattern book, and templates. She also sent fabric organizers (which I have never seen), a nice bag, scissor holder, pincushion, a thread cutter, and a card. Many thanks to Nancy!

I am postal. I did some shopping online this time and had it all shipped to my SS. I mailed a note this morning as well as there wasn't a spot on the order to send a note.

My package is in the mail. It's heading NE by three states. I've driven through the state a couple of times and was overwhelmed by the trees. Trees, trees, and more trees everywhere -- I ended up getting claustrophobic! Can you tell I'm a West Texas gal? We do big sky.

Belfrybat, I love the Trees. Guess that is why I live in Minnesota

I am not a MN native, I am originally from the plains of NE and hated it. I wanted the woods, which is one of the reason I moved North. When I was preparing to leave the plains I was looking in WA, ID, MN, and PA for jobs. I landed that job in MN 30 years ago and have never once regretted moving to the Twin Cities.

Now my Mother hated MN, and she only visited. She is not a tree fan and would cut down a tree on the farm just to cut it down because it was a tree and shredded leaves.

I received an awesome package from BrendaK today! I took lots of pictures but can't figure out how to transfer them from my new phone to my new laptop. I 'll be at my studio with my windows 7 laptop this weekend and hopefully be able to post. Brenda, you made such a nice package for me, I loved the cookies, candy, tea, cookbook, shamrock necklace and scarf, the kitchen towel, telescoping magnet, sewing kit, vintage embroidery patterns, doorstop.....
whew! I'm not done yet! A really neat bookmark and pouch, with more supplies in it. It is a great size and I can never get my zippers to look that neatly finished! And, 6 yellow fat quarters. I felt like it was Christmas morning. Thank you so much!

sewdamncute, I am really glad you liked your package. I had so much fun packing it. I looked for something for the bird but wasn't lucky. Hope he (she) didn't feel slighted. This swap feels like Christmas every month. Love to hear what others received. BrendaK
