Thank you for hosting this again, love to see and hear what everyone is working on, and will probably join in again on NYD. Last NYD I did the Mayhem mystery but still have that top sitting waiting to be a backing on something.
I have participated in a couple BOMs this year, and have the Dec. Wild Life block fused 12 x 24" from http://sewincrediblycrazy.blogspot.com/ I have my threads chosen sitting on it in the picture... hope to get to stitching later or tomorrow afternoon after my walking group. Finished my DDs photo calendar this afternoon, and my "now" project is to print and finish up my own.... but popped on here instead

It's wonderful to see all the hard work being done today. I finished three projects, two of which have been sitting around for a couple years. It felt really good to complete them. Tomorrow I'm quilting with friends at LQS so probably won't check in until after supper. I have seen a couple things I can see myself doing in 2019. In fact, I ordered the ornament pattern

I don't fit into my New Year's eve dress anymore. So I guess I'm staying home too. At the rate I'm getting Bonnie Hunter's Clue # 5 sewed, I'll be here for a long time. Where is that quarter inch seam???

I managed to get my Giant Dahlia all quilted, but have to run to the store tomorrow for binding fabric. So I'm going to do some much needed straightening up in the sewing room tonight. Tomorrow, I'll get the binding onto the Giant Dahlia and a couple of runners I made for my mother.

I got my strips cut this afternoon after I came home from work so I'm ready to start sewing tomorrow! I'm making the quilt that QuiltE posted a while back. It's very scrappy so I'm using more of my stash to make it. I did buy 2 half yard cuts of fabric for it, but other than that it's all scraps. I'll post some pics tomorrow when I get moving on it.

I haven’t joined in quite awhile, but I will this time... but not until later today. I’m going to be sandwiching an “Around the block” from Cloud9 fabrics. This is for my SIL’s wedding December 29th, so I should have time. My husband cleaned and oiled my Bailey last week in prep for my quilting weekend and so he ran the machine on some fabric and batting to make sure the oil was all gone. It was much like a small quilt. Later that day he said “ I kinda liked running that machine!” I told him I’d make him a practice piece and if he was good enough I’d let him do a little on his sisters quilt. I’ll draw something with washable markers and see how he does. He’s familiar with sewing, and I always have him help me lay out my scrappies because he has an excellent eye for color placement, so this might be a natural progression of things. If his practice piece isn’t up to par it’ll be hands off. Haha! I’m really looking forward to having him join me and his sister will love that he was involved, more than just color placement.
