I think the accent mark is on Labor for this project and I guess we must love it a lot to put this much labor into something. However with each new block it seems I find little things that I didn't do on the previous block that makes things seem a little bit easier. I've never been able to work with a thimble but with this project I have dug out ever thimble I ever owned and bought 4 new ones, there has to be one out there somewhere that I can work with. My finger tips are looking a lot like hamburger meat, lol.

Can't wait to see your final blocks, I can't even imagine how excited you must be to be this close.

    Default My LBB Block 6

Block 6 is in the bag. I used an alternate ribbon and bow I really like from a book called "A Fine Finish" and then stuffed it. I like the way it came out.

Another beauty. Your bow looks really good. Keep it up. You'll be done in no time.

Each block is more amazing than the last one. This quilt is already beautiful. Thank you for sharing your journey! I love the colors you are using. I can't wait to see the blocks al together.

QuiltnNan, I haven't used any paint or pencils so far. The fabrics are all from my stash and the embellishments are all embroidery thread. A few of the leaves and flower pedals are actually the back side of printed fabric. I don't think the back side of fabric gets enough attention and it can sometimes be just the right piece you're looking for. Here's one piece that I have used the back side for several of the leaves. The first picture is the right side of the fabric and the 2nd is the back side.

Thanks, SewingSenior. I agree about the backside of fabrics! Your blocks are so beautiful.

    Default My LBB Block 7

This one was nice and easy. I did add for couple extra rose buds because I really like these tiny rose buds so you will probably see a lot of them in future blocks.
