Didn’t get much done so far today. Was sidetracked by my youngest daughter wanting to Skype. Since she lives in Hawai’i, I’m not going to pass that up. And I get to see my adorable grandson. This is as far as I got on Artemis’s baby quilt. It’s about halfway done. Well for some reason it uploaded sideways.

Welcome Mosquitobait. I got my chubby chicks top done. This cute print with chicks was going to be a border but it didn’t look right. So it will go on the back. So this is as big as it will be. I will get it pin basted tomorrow and may quilt it before starting on the next project.

Love all the quilts and other projects you are showing. The chicks made me smile!

I have put the borders on my bargello quilt top. I'm still looking at the colors to decide if they are 'just right' or not.

I enjoy reading and seeing progress reports. Lots of wonderful work is happening.

I did work on my September Color Blocks and made progress on my leader/ender while sewing the Color Blocks. I didn’t get to my UFO again today. I watched a great nephew play in his first college football game though. He is at a community college and it was on YouTube. He had 3 catches and one was a 77 yard touchdown. I was jumping with excitement! Lol!

MosquitoBait: Welcome to the board! Cute name! I’m thankful that the mosquitoes were only bad earlier in the spring at my house in east central MN. 🙂

Hello MosquitoBait! As an ex-Alaskan, I know a thing or two about mosquitos...

Haven't done any quilt sandwiching, but I am making progress. I've been doing a major sewing/home reorganizing and it felt so good to sit down yesterday and actually do some sewing. Or at least, once I got done re-sewing.

So here's Froggy Beach, or temporarily known as Frogs without Borders

PS: Happy bday to me. Last year was 60 and man, I sure knew how to plan for a memorable experience as we drove through the Oregon fires to California and back all during the time of plague. This year is a non-milestone and I am celebrating with you all. Yesterday I did a bunch of nice keto-suitable cooking, a boneless leg of lamb on the charcoal grill and fancy pork loin wrapped in woven bacon in the oven. I got in the habit of celebrating my birthday on Labor Day, which is the first Monday of September so it moves around -- tomorrow I might splurge and have a pizza delivered!

I’ve enjoyed getting caught up with everyone’s progress. So many neat projects being done- very inspirational.

yesterday I put together a few more of the 16 patches for my September colorblock quilt- I think I have 16 left to make. i also finished the quilting on the August Colorblock quilt- will try to get it bound today- Yay!

next on my list: continuing work on September 16 patches and final quilting and last bit of color work on a small art quilt.

    happy quilting everyone!

Friend came again yesterday. We finished cutting 12 small kits using 3 yds ea=36 yds. As my current normal, I'm awake at 3:30am. Stacked fabric for another 8 quilts. Wore brace to remind me I've had wrist surgery-don't over do. She's coming again Wednesday.
Today, I'm going to put most of this project back onto the storage shelves. I think this used ~1/5 of my for sale fabric.
    Also, sold a Singer 210, sirca 1925.

Ice blossom-what table did you get? I wound up with the Husky garage workbench. It can roll up and down it’s 30 inches wide by 48 inches long. Unfortunately it’s still in the box in the garage because we need to paint the walls first. Which means I have gotten no sewing done. The sewing room is cluttered with a bunch of garbage from another room that we’ve been painting. I did some stitching but it’s Crosstitch no Quilting yesterday. Mostly I’ve just been trying to pick up stuff around the house. I’m feeling very flat today.

    >>>>I've adjusted to the height difference pretty quickly as I'm fixing these blocks. Think I'm going to crank up the table height a couple more notches too -- I love being able to customize this stuff instead of just my chair or just making do.[/QUOTE]
