I am excited for this project.
I would gladly do a regular round robin if we can’t find one more person.
I have never done a RR, but there’s always a first time for everything. Ricky Tims is an excellent teacher but I think I have “bought “ plenty from him this year ( won’t hesitate to do it again). Either way let’s have fun.
I’ve done a couple round robins but never taken a Ricky Tims class before. I’m game!

Doing a RR of our own sounds like a good option and you can make a "traditional" type of RR or doing a-la-Ricky Tims with the crazy cutting deconstrucion/contruction. I'm game...it's only fabric and what harm can come from that?

C Joyce, I am confused. Are you game to join us for the Ricky Tims RR; Or only if we decide to do it ourselves? So glad that you are up for one or the other!

We cannot register with Ricky without a sixth team member. The FB page contact has written and said she hasn't got anyone still needing a team. We have a few more days before registration closes for the Mad Adders. Perhaps he will let us with our five members? He is getting ready to move from Colorado and probably could use every penny he can earn! A team of five is almost a team of six :-)

I am still hoping for a sixth team member before registration ends.

OK I’m in, if you still need a 6th! Sorry, we’ve been out of town for a wedding and family get-togethers.

Peckish -- Oh Wow!!! GREAT! You weren't even on my radar as a possible. :-)

Just to confirm, you want to do the Mad Adder challenge, right? You understand that you have to pay about $75 to register on the Ricky Tim site, right? And we will be priority mailing once a month to the next person on the round robin list from your name, right?

If so, please PM me your real name, a real email address and your mailing address. I will send out PMs to everyone in the group.

So here we are folks -- 2023 Mad Adders:

1. ibex94
2. Yiayia
3. c joyce
4. 1CharmShort
5. ShawneeOR
6. Peckish

We need a name to register with Mad Adders. What name folks? I went through our threads and pulled these suggestions so far:
Original QB6 Adders
QB Quirky Quilters
QB Adders
QB Mad Adders

Adders by QB
Tims Twirling Tadders

QB's Flinging Flimsies (can you see the BOOM influence here?)
QBP3 (Plan Piece Pulverize)
Carrottops (cause we're jumping into a big rabbit hole)
Onions (slicing and dicing and lots of layers in our lives)
Passion Fruits (we must be a bit fruity to commit to such an adventure)

any other suggestions?

Of the listed I am partial to Flinging Flimsies 😊

I must say that I was beginning to think we were not going to get six of us to join in.
I thank you all!

Yeah. Glad you’re getting to participate. I’m just too, too, well too, to commit.

Ibex,

How are we going to proceed? Should we pick a name, then set a time and date that we all submit our payment to Ricky Tims at the same time? Have a zoom meeting first?

1Charm,

Hopefully, we’re good to go and will start talking soon. I don’t know about you but I’m both nervous and excited 😊
