Good God, your dog is bigger than I am!!!
I have to say, that is the cutest thing I have seen in a long time, lol! I've bookmarked the topic and I'm going to show it to Sasha when he gets home, he's going to fall to pieces! That's really my kind of dog. We want to get a dog in a few years, but I don't actually like real lap dogs, might as well have a cat (IMO) and this is exactly the kind of character we would want in a pooch!

I LOVE him!! He's just so cute!! My son has an Irish Wolfhound and she thinks she is a lap dog too! What is it with the giant breeds, they aren't aware of their size? :)

I so want an Irish Wolfhound! I just don't know how they would do in the humid summers here. He is our 3rd Dane, and all have been this way. He weights around 160 now. It is funny to watch them grow. they can gain a lb a day sometimes.

They are so good with kids. If you raise them up as babys, they will be the best, and gentlest friend your beautiful baby boy could ever have. I say if you are going to get a dog, get a DOG!

Wolfhounds are couch potatoes, I've had two over the years and they are quite content to veg and take life easy!

The only thing you have to be careful about is anesthetic should they ever require surgery. Because they are a sight hound, they have to have a special anesthetic. I lost my first one because the vet used the wrong anesthetic to neuter him and I had to put the dog down. :(

For those of you who ask, here is Mortimer's baby pictures. He was about 7 weeks old in the pumpkin one. And he slept in the clothes basket until he no longer fit. We would take the basket in the car, and strap it in, and he would travel in it.
