I had a treat last weekend as DH took me to the Fabric Hut (1/2 hour away). They carry over 6,000 bolts of quilting fabric!
Yes, the common is in the right place! I needed a tissue for the drool (which they had on the front counter!)
Then DH said "I'll be back in a couple of hours" and handed me $100.00 for early Mother's day from him and the kids.
Heaven!

Our hancocks just moved into a really nice place, they are going to stock more quilting fabric and yarn. I like all the women that work there, I've taken classes when they offered block of the month and learned a lot. I shop Joann's when I go to South Carolina which I'm going Thursday. We have one 100 miles away it just opened last November.

I haven't been in a while because it is so frustrating.

The Hancock's in Hendersonville, TN closed down 2 years ago. Some of their fabric was alright but there was alot of cheap looking fabric. I shop at Joann's occasionally, if I have too, but rather shop at a couple of Quilting shops in Lebanon, Tn. Joann's personnel acts like they wish you would go away, so that's why I prefer private quilting shops.
