Good for you. A helpful quilt at one of our Wal Mart's here gave me the "heads up" that they were reducing their fabric department to one half one their renovation occurs. Hey, that's better than eliminating it in my book. I shop all over but really like choices.

Thanks. I wish my WM still sold fabric. Out of luck.

Has anyone seen this?

http://www.petitiononline.com/savefab/

It's a petition to Walmart to bring back fabric. Interesting.

Our Walmart doesn't have fabric anymore, since the made it a super WM last year. But....I am currently working on a set of hexagon placemates from the most beautiful fabric I bought at WM a few years ago, and forgot I had it. It is blue and teal and gold butterflys on a black ground...and good quality too. I will post pics when I get them finished. Sounds like a great deal at $1.50 per yd...better get alot, they won't have fabric forever.

rexie, I always thought the 400 yard sale would be fun. Is it advertised earlier in the year? Eiltcoq.

You girls are so lucky, there is very little quilting fabric here in Australia for under $15.00 a metre, which is about $19 US, and that's for the cheap stuff. Most good quality cotton is about $22 to $25 a metre. Very envious!!
