I am so sorry to hear about your BFF. Don't worry about meeting me right now, you just tend to your friend. I do pray and hope that things improve. Carrie

I miss Wm quilt of the month material too. I had trouble keeping up with it and still have about a year's worth of their pattern/fabric!

Due to the number of call they received, they decided to keep their fabric department. That was about 3 years ago.
We did the same thing here. Had our ASG members contact headquarters. They kept fabric in two stores for another year. One closed it out three months ago and my WM clerk/friend told me they just got the notice my store would be closing out in December. @#$%^&**&^%#$ They have already downsized several departments and boy, does it show. Clerks said they have hired several top dogs from Target and are trying to tern it into a Target type store. I shopped Target twice. Neither time did they have the advertised item in the store. The old "we're sold out of that item" bait and switch. On the first day at 9 AM? I don't think so.
    Never went back.

Hey, I live in Ohio County, KY. I know where Murray is. Where is Hardin, KY?

Did you know where both Wal-marts in Bowling Green still have fabric? :D

Better get it quickly. They are phasing out all fabric. It is too "labor intensive". I live near Houston, and there is only one WalMart left that has fabric, and they will be gone by the end of summer from what we hear.

The bright side is I have not shopped Walmart very much at all since they phased out the fabric. Saved me a lot of money.
