Margie, The medallion pattern is from Carol Doak's book 300 PAPER PIECED QUILT BLOCKS. It is block #215. It is printed as a 4 inch block and 4 together create the medallion which would be an 8 inch block. I enlarged each of the 4 inch patterns to fill an 8 1/2 x 11 sheet of copy paper, which made the block 13 inches and with the frame it is 16 inches.

What a great quilt--love how the dark sashing really grounds the quilt and balances all the brighter colors!
