I have fibromyalgia, and when I get tired it makes no difference where I am at. I need to close my eyes lol.... Sometimes sitting in my chair by my bed to tired to get into bed. duh me,.... :)

I've got my laptop in bed too! I wake up, can't sleep...
turn it on...It is 4:44 am !

Yep, I feel like I am being hypnotized ... my eyelids start getting very heavy. I usually wake with a jolt, too.

Didn't know fibromyalgia might contribute to the cause as someone suggested. I'll have to ask my doc that next time I see her. I tend to blame everything on the weather, being up too late, arthritis ... guess I discount too many things in dealing with Fibro. But it does require a lot of energy to fight the fibro and stay functional so I suppose it could be part of the cause.

I have done this at home and sadly some times at work-then I but wake myself up as my head falls forward. When it happens at work I know I'm not getting enough sleep. :oops:

That's one of the first indications when my thyroid is out of whack and time to check to see if my medication needs to be adjusted.

I would say you had better see a Doctor. You may have sleep apnea. I found out about three years ago that I had it. Everytime I sat down in my chair I couldn't stay awake. The CPAP mask I wear at night has made a world of difference as far as my energy level goes. Go see your Doctor and tell him what is happening.
