Thats great you are enjoying the hand quilting. It really gives me a sense of accomplishment to see it progressing. Great job.

I hadn't heard of that site, thanks for putting it on. I'm like you, love the fabrics. I love dyeing my own too but that's a whole nother story.

Very pretty. I haven't tried the bleach discharge but do a lot of hand dyeing. love it. I always admire your work when you post a new one.

You do the most wonderful work. My hand quilting will never be as fine as yours no matter how hard I try. When You find your niche, stick to it. I have wanted to ask you, how long does it take you to do a bed sized quilt?

I seem to get stuck on a certain type, and will make several until something else grabs my attention. I seem to gravitate to applique. Usually have an applique border on the pieced quilts.

I like traditional quilting - that's what I learned 20+ yrs ago and taught to others - but now I really LOVE the modern patterns and fabrics !! My daughter is into quilting now & home dec with these fun new designs, and I'm having fun trying new stuff along with her ! I really like it all ... from Civil war quilts to the bright modern ones. It's all FUN :)

I love it all, but I definitely prefer fun and whimsical designs best. It means I do a lot of applique.

I like doing traditional patterns but out of bold and bright or or other non-traditional fabrics. I also like anything that can be strip-pieced. I like converting traditional to time-saving.

I like to do my own thing. My quilts take on their own personality and I continually change things up. I wont even use a traditional pattern. I use instructions for how to cut different shapes and see how they look together. I think we all do that, don't we?

I love all quilts - haven't seen one yet that I didn't enjoy. And the fabrics are all so bright, beautiful and the first thing to catch my eye.
