I needed to make a practice block and used some colors that won't match anything I currently have in the works. If you're interested in me sending you this block, we could have a little game. If you want it, be the first one to tell me (correctly) what I saved last Saturday and I'll send the block to you. I'll get your address via PM if you are the winner

Roe, I'll be mailing your block to you on Monday as I doubt I'll get the mailbox tomorrow due to the weather.

I've messaged both of my partners (LetsQuilt and Melrose). I finished my student teaching today and now I feel like I have all the rest of my life to sew! Yay! I am making at least one gray & white block... wondering what the other request will be?

PM sent to my partner, but haven't heard anything yet. Not that it would matter, as I am about 1,000 miles away from my sewing machine! Lol! I am working a trade show in Orlando this weekend.

I like that Pattern to. It looks easy. Do you know the name and where I could the pattern? Would it be Ok to ask our block partners to make this block for our exchange. I think it would be neat.

I wasn't sure which block you are referring to, but I think you are referring to the Depression block. Find it on QuiltersCache at: http://www.quilterscache.com/D/DepressionBlock.html

The block posted by moonwork is Brasstown Star at: http://www.quilterscache.com/B/BrasstownStarBlock.html

The Depression block is the one I've been requesting for a year from my partners and those blocks are most of the ones I've rec'd. They are wonderful together and I couldn't be happier with them.
