I guess I wondered from Loretta's question if there was interest in another just chicken swap...

I don't think I'll participate in any more swaps while I'm doing the DJ (except of course the DQS and the IRR's), or at least until I know better what life is like. I'm happy to let SandPat take over, or I can certainly host it if she's busy...but I wouldn't participate. Sandpat...whatever you want to do is fine with me!!

Me too.... I'm concentrating on the DJ next year, with the IRR for a bit of a change. I'm gutted about missing some of the swaps, but have to be realistic about what I can do.

I'm checking with BlueRibbonToes so see what her plans are for swaps...you all know the farm swap is still going on and just had its deadline moved to Feb. 15..

I know that many of us are overloaded with swap participation right now...but there might be some that would like to do it and there are an awful lot of newbies on the board in the last few months...they might want to play...we'll see.

Depending on BlueRibbonToes...I will post a thread to check interest....

AFTER the farm swap I could host another Chicken Swap. We could change the parameters a bit to shake things up.... 6 inch blocks? Or rectangle blocks? OR any size block and make a fun sampler quilt? We have until Feb. to brain storm.... Of course, someone else can the chicken swap if you gals want to play before Feb. :)

I've checked with Patrice/Shadow and they feel like we have board overload on swaps right now. I tend to agree...we all want to join them all, then we get overwhelmed...so we will do another...but we will wait until after the 1st of the year.

I or BRT will host....I'll post an interest thread sometime in January... :D
