I really think that my Dad didn't mean anything by it but when you are a kid you believe everything! I was skinny as a toothpick looking back. It was hard to find clothes for me because I was so thin....but hearing that you are fat you start believing it. I'm very blessed that I didn't become anorexic or belemic (SPELLING?!)

I just hope to never do that to my kids. I'm sorry that you went through that. That is terrible. Children do learn by example. KWIM?

It's been nice chatting w/you. ;-)

I hope it went well. One way I fight the 'too many tacos' temptation is to leave out the shell. Then I put a handful of lettuce on my plate. Spoon on a serving size portion of the taco makings and top it with lots of salsa. No sour cream or guacamole. If you have spanish rice, put s little on the salad too.
Thank you. I had one taco with lots of tomato and lettuce.

Good for you Donna it's a real victory when we succeed at not eating the things we love. Way to Go.

Good for you. I wouldn't have stopped at one taco. I love Mexican food! Therefore I no longer eat it, to many calories and to much temptation.

I took a chance and stood on the scale last night and had a 1lb. gain but I have been bloated for a couple of days so I think it is just water retention. I can't wait for my sister and BIL to come down Thursday, they are gonna be surprised, they haven't seen me since I dropped the weight. My extremely large double chin is almost gone, I can't believe it. That thing has plagued me all my life. I have been doing chin and neck exercises and it's working, Yay!!! I think I am hitting that platue again where I don't lose any weight but my body makes changes in it's size. It seems to happen every couple of months. How's everyone else doing today??
