don't worry about your skills...they develope as you practice...i used to get so frustrated...everyone posting pics of masterpieces...i can't do that i told myself...wrong!

always look for tutorials...this place has tons and they are great! also ck online....here is one at eblogger....lots of quilt blogs at eblogger too...

She is right. I had you twice on the list so you have to make twice as many pinwheels as the rest of us!
Along with that blogspot be sure and watch this video:

So this is going to drive me nuts. I moved some around. Now what do you think? There's a couple I don't like together; we'll see if you guys agree.

This is late in the day,but someone posted their blocks didn't have the blades going in the right direction. Here's mt 1st block...not the best pic, but a couple pins hold it where I can check each of my blocks.Even so, I not only sewed one wrong, but did it twice!! :(

I thought I would join this to finish my already begun pinwheel quilt Then while searching for more fabric to make 5" blocks, I discovered a whole stack of 4" charms. So I decided to start with them. Here is what I have done so far along with my sandwiched stack of squares yet to sew around. I also sure do like that method of sewing with the little joiner thread (about 3 pages back on 38-39?. It seems to be lots faster without so much pressing. I will do the rest that way and found that I can chain a lot of them as long as I remember to only cut apart every other one so I don't lose my sets. Plus, I am still looking through my scraps for more pieces to finish cutting more 5" squares so I can work on the bigger one, too. These will keep me busy until spring arrives.

Stack ready to sew

Here's my first pinwheels. I have triangles left over from snowballs etc, so I made pinwheels out of those first. There's a bunch of teeny ones I haven't done yet. My quilt is going to be scrappy, if you couldn't tell!

How about switching one of the 4th or 5th in the last row with either the 1st one 1st row or 1st on 2nd row?
