Love all the finishes...and will definately make a matching runner if I have enough leftover from the quilt. Great idea! I usually use leftovers from whatever quilt I'm making to make a runner to match. The quilts are usually about 50x60. So, for open concept houses, the quilt on the couch & the runner on dining table or buffet. For a throw for a bed & a runner for the dresser. One lady had a plain white comforter & put one of my throws on her bed as a topper for the queen bed; beautiful with the white framing it! Runner on dresser that had scratches on the top, so hidden. I loved that! Will work somemore on step 1 tomorrow...

Dotty thought you might want to turn that one block before you quilted it. I guess you didn't see it. Hope you haven't quilted it yet.

Just getting around to reading this. My opinion for what it is worth, the gold is fine. If you didn't have the deeper olive in there I might think about it, but the way the other colors go, the gold fits in there just great. Love it.

m-fay and Dotty, love your runners and tops. Dotty, expecially love the narrow sashing you have used, really makes the tops sparkle.

Thanks so much to all of you who post little comments when I have started a thread with a quilt I have made, saying you love my mysteries and to join us. Someone even mentioned the date of the next one, thanks. I am not allowed to post anything in any thread directing people to my mysteries, the rules state that if you are running a thread, you are not allowed to ask people to come over to the thread.

I am just a lurker, but have followed all your mystery train rides and love seeing how they come together. I have followed all of them since joining QB, and even went back and paged through the older ones before I joined.

I finally finished my #8 and posted a picture on that thread.

I've also been working on this one. Judy, I love, love, love this pattern! I definitely want to make it larger. This is what I have so far. Love my purple!

Karen, Your purple is lovely. This has been a great train ride. I had one of my #9's on the floor last night to get the right scraps in the right place & DH said, "that sure is pretty". That's unusual.
