    After all the good advice, and my DH's opinion, I am going with the green, because it will be used for a girl baby quilt, so the green is softer, but then I am using the rose and some of the original fabric for the borders and binding. I am thinking a small rose inner border and then a larger border of the original fabric and binding in either. Will have to play with those combos, and may come back for more advice. Thanks to everyone who took the time to comment. It helps so much.

    I agree. The green gives it a soft, sweet look. The rose is bright and bold. I agree with Ditter43, that is.
