I have learned not to move things, because I will ALWAYS forget where I moved it to.

When my children were young we hid their xmas presents wherever thinking they would never find them, well neither could I !!! When they turned up ( the gifts not the children ) they were thrilled to be getting gifts for no reason . ha ha also, this problem gets worse with age I'm told. Guess there's no hope for us.

If I don't put everything where it goes, I am hopeless. I have lousy short-term memory.

I put things away in "safe" places all the time, only to forget where it was. My granddaughter was looking in my drawers last week and found a tiny purse I've looked for for several years. I also forget all the "after holiday" bargains I buy and put away for next year. This year I made a list of all the things I have stored away and will put it on the inside of the attic door if I can ever find where I put the list.
