Chip piles his blankie, and then sucks on it! He's half toy poodle, a quarter Shizhu, and the other quarter is a Chi-Pom mix...all shortens up to "mutt"... :)

I have 3 dogs two of them nest, The female toy poodle always has, I thought it was a mothering thing as she started it while expecting, then we rescued the male in my avatar and he nest everywhere. :-) The other male is a toy poodle and he just flops down anywhere.

Oh yes, sometimes its quick and sometimes he will go on and on for a while then plop down. I have three french bulldogs and they like to have separate nests.

Yes my dog does it some, but my cat has to make a nest of the quilt, the blanket, the fabric, my lap!

2 rescused silky terriers both love to nest. They are 16 now..you gotta' love these girls!!!

The Tibetan Spaniels 'dig' enough to make a chin rest. The mutt terrier scratches a nest and the Jack Russell burrows and snuggles.

Out of my five dogs (two pit bulls, a beagle, a 1/2 german shepherd and an australian shepherd) only the beagle does it. Wonder why????

Yes, they all do (5) Each one has a section of those cheap Walmart blankets in their crate, and when they were clean and new, the dogs must spend all night making it a 'nest'

One of the signs of labor starting is the mom 'nest' She digs and digs. In fact one girl I had, in the middle of winter, started nesting outside under the juniper!

They get themselves all comfy and just 'so' on the sofa, I know they are just daring me to move them!
