I did a LOT more quilting until I started reading quilting forums - I belong to two and a treadle sewing machine forum. Now it seems I am spending more time forum browsing than on the sewing machine. I am fully retired and DH is supporting my fabric addiction by working so spend some time every day in the quilt room and am up here when DH is watching TV at night.

I'm with you about feeling better if I can stitch something each day. I am working on a project now and if I can make one block a day, then I am happy. Some days I can make more than one, but right now, one a day is perfect.

Not as much time as I would like. Some days 8 or more hours. Some days nothing.:(

Not enough time, that's for sure. I've got lots of projects lined up but never enough time to work on them. I guess I'd say I probably am able to spend about 5-6 hours or so a week at some sort of quilting/sewing project. Of course, with the holidays coming, I'll have to up that considerably so I can get all my projects finished.

It takes a while to get motivated in the morning, but once I do, I can be in my "craft cave" for 6-9 hours, even forgetting to eat, lol.

I sewed a fair amount today but it usually takes me forever to choose fabrics (from stash). A little bit anal I think. Took me all day to pick out 5 fabrics for a table topper. HaHa

Depending on what I am doing - piecing or quilting - I can spend anywhere from 3 to 18 hours a day. I can spend much longer standing at my longarm then I can sitting at my sewing machine! But my business is LA quilting, so I guess it is a good thing I can do it for as long as necessary :D

Not enough and often not as much as I'd like. It varies with what I am doing. Sometimes I get involved and do spend up to 6 hours, but I am also retired.
