    Gorgeous dog Applique! Have you considered using a white pencil or a white thread to add glints to the eyes. Dash's expression really popped once Aniko demonstrated the way to do "eyes" - she did the right eye and left the left eye for me.

    I went into class thinking that too, and surprised myself. I've only been quilting since May 2010. But have done cross stitch and scrapbooked for decades - so I am comfortable with the color aspect.

    Your project is one that I is in my "bucket list" to do. I love your blog also. Good instructions for doing a pet portrait and other quilting stuff.
