What is a DWR? My mind is wandering from sewing today.

After that I am going to play with my DWR and make a block or two to see how that is going to go. The DWR will be my next project for son's wedding in July. Will post pictures shortly.

    Have fun today!!!

I believe a DWR is a double wedding ring quilt.

Well I'm in!! I have several projects going on today. So in this order; I'm going to work on:

1.) Cut & make 8 Mystery blocks that I'm 2 weeks behind on.
2.) I have to do the 3 B's on a Feb. Mini that is a gift.
3.) Put 3 rows of hand quilting on my "Sunflowers & Crows" piece
4.) Finish Appliqueing the last 2 items on a lottery block at evening TV Time

There is more but I'll be lucky to get all this done. I'll be sure to keep ya all up to date as I progress. Now DH has put food on the table, so I'm off and running to get my 1st cuppa of Joe too.

    Toodles,
    Tricia

After lunch I made a couple of Crumb blocks, http://quiltville.blogspot.co.uk/200...bs-crumbs.html from the masses of triangles that you get from the Prairies Chicken and other scraps, so my Scrap boxes are looking quite diminished and I haven't got anywhere near finished with the projects, challenge is well on the way to being met

Binding is on 2 quilts. I'm taking a break for lunch, and then doing some sewing. Need a break from the hand work. Glad to see lots of people on-board today!

I am working on my first flying geese blocks today - making a kit I purchased last year at a show. I have seen easier ways online to make geese, but the kit had some fabric precut so it limited my options in construction methods.

So far, they look pretty good, except for one that is not straight across the top ( not sure exactly what happened there) but it will probably take the rest of the day to finish them all!
