This is absolutely spectacular. I would love to see it finished too. What a wonderful work of art you will have.

What a beautiful quilt. I really like the colors. Can't wait to see more. Is there a way you can leave your sewing set up so that you can have a half hour here and there? They all add up (I'm just anxious to see the completed quilt).

Wish I could, but my sewing room is my dining room, and we don't have an eat-in kitchen. So every evening, I have to clear it away for dinner.

I try to sneak a bit in here and there, but my kids are 11 and 14, so I'm still a pretty busy mom and wife, especially in the summer. Think I'll let the house go for a bit, though, and attack it again this weekend.

I often rely on my daughters because, despite their young age, they both have exceptionally good eyes for colour. Must get it from their father, 'cause I painted the front door Big Bird Yellow. Didn't work well
 Funny--I most always run color ideas by my daughter and/or Kennedy, my 13 year old barn buddy.

That is a gorgeous quilt--paperpiecing scares me--so I'm REALLY impressed. I hope I don't miss it when you post the finished project.

What a beautiful pattern, you've done a wonderful job on it and I love the colours you've chosen!
