Thank you QM and RG222. I have my next set all done. (See picture.) I am working on my 3rd set tomorrow. I have the applique all fused and ready to stitch down. And will be cutting the borders for this block tomorrow also. Not sure if I'll get them done tomorrow. But, for sure next week. I am having so much fun with these. And, then no more playing for a few days. Have to go to work. ( I will be brain storming my next block while I work. )

Thank you Mariposa, I had something else planned for this block and then discovered the pattern for it was too small. I was determined to use this block since they were all pieced and ready to go. And, my applique snowman is getting a new block tomorrow. lol

I am seriously considering joining this swap. I love snowmen and that's the bulk of our christmas decor. I don't have an embroidery machine, but do hand embroider so I think I would do one set that way. Would blocks with snowman fabric (no embroidery) be eligible?

I'm going to do one with Snowman fabric also. I just haven't gotten to it yet. My next set will be a pieced block. I'm still trying to decide which block will best suit my fabric. I hope to finish my applique set today. I'm also working on my next applique set. I think on this one, I will ask yall's opinion to see what you think. I just can't tell. I bought this fabric, I loved this fabric. I made it into the blocks.....but, I really don't know if I love it. I really thought the applique would help wow the block. I'm still underwhelmed. I will try to have it ready to post later today. I would really value opinions.

Thank you MuseandSew, I'm usually a blue Christmas person. But, I'm stash bustin' and I only had a small piece of the red left. This block worked out perfectly for it. So far, I have only bought 2 pieces of fabric to make my blocks. A pink swirl piece and a Snowman print. (Not bad for me.) The biggest pieces I usually have are fat quarters. And, of course, I keep yardage of white on white. I got some great deals on quilt store quality white fabric at the Paducah quilt show. I know, all that beautiful fabric. And, what do I buy, white! I really did that with the intention of being able to use ALL the fabric in my stash.

I have been trying to decide WHICH pattern I want to do.

There are about 4-7 that I am trying to decide on, 3 are
machine embroidery, 2 are applique, and another is something
unique that I seen in a new magazine I just got.

    So many decisions to make.

I am loving the samples you all are posting, which is also giving
    me yet even MORE ideas.

Here is my 3rd set. I decided on applique for this one. And I kept the border simple.
