Sewed the last row on my scrappy. I'll post a pic a little later. It's time to run a few errands.

hey there I am right in the middle of Raggiemom and hcarpannie. I am as close to Madison, IN as I am to Cincinnati (I was actually born in Cincy and most of my cousins are still there).

I am glad I am not the only one sewing for 4th of July. I been sewing like a mad woman - but I want to get this done. Here is my quilt so far its at the half way mark.... these are my boy's blue jeans being turned into a rag quilt for the couch. Its not been washed so I can't wait to see how it frays. Well I can't upload my picture.. not sure why

Well, I got my shopping done at Joann's this morning. I'm back in my sewing room this afternoon. I finished the 2 boudoir bolster pillows from yesterday although they look a little lumpy! And I sandwiched and quilted the hexagon table runner. If I make more of these, I might birth them instead of binding them. Binding the octagon was a pain

Love the fabric you're using. I might make one of these one of these days. Actually it will be our 25th wedding anniversary in 4 years. That might make a nice present!

Thanks! Our Joann's had 2 of the fleece tie kits this am. I was the second person in the store and grabbed one. The person behind me grabbed the other. They didn't have any Frozen fleece though. I'm sure my niece will love the tied blanket though.

I think someone said they were working on a disappearing hourglass quilt. What does that look like?

I didn't type a message yesterday. I am working on my BOOM blocks. Finished two yesterday and one today so far. At the same time using border for a scrap quilt as my leader/enders so hope to have that together and finish the borders on that top tomorrow.

Hope everyone had a nice 4th. Glad Arthur was not much damage for you on the other coast.

My company left today so I am just relaxing today. I am hoping to work on a baby quilt tomorrow for my hair stylist and two princess themed applique quilts for two darling sisters in Connecticut. They are my SIL's grandnieces and so precious!
